Unite For Peace and Development
In an effort aimed at pursuing and consolidating peace and development, the different
churches in Eastern Equatoria State (EES)united under the umbrella, ‘the United Evangelical
Churches (UECs) led by Bishop Bernard Oringa Balmoi of the Episcopal Church of Sudan
Diocese of Torit. As reported by Gurtong’s State Correspondent Peter Lokale Nakimangole,
the Churches want to work with the state government in promoting peace among the
communities.
